Data protection at SIGN of MINE GmbH

We appreciate your interest in our website. The protection of your personal data, as well as your rights to privacy and informational self-determination, is important to us. Our data protection practices comply with the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and other applicable statutory provisions. The controller responsible for data processing within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is: SIGN of MINE GmbH, Neuturmstraße 10, 80331 Munich, Germany, info@sign-of-mine.de. The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data.

Purpose of data collection and use

SIGN of MINE GmbH sells high-quality embroidered labels and accessories with the option of personalization. The data you provide during the order process will be used exclusively to process and handle your order. Data will only be shared with third parties if necessary to fulfill the contract, such as shipping or payment service providers, and even then only to the extent necessary. The contract text will be saved, and we will send you the order details via email. You can view past orders in your customer account. If you lose any documents, our customer service will be happy to help you. Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

No sharing of your data for advertising purposes

Your data will not be passed on to third parties for advertising, opinion poll, or market research purposes. If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address will be used exclusively to send you our own information until you unsubscribe. The legal basis for this is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Furthermore, as part of the ordering process, you can voluntarily consent to us occasionally sending you product-specific information by mail or email. You can unsubscribe at any time, e.g., by emailing info@sign-of-mine.de.

E-mail advertising without newsletter registration and right of objection

If we receive your email address in connection with the sale of a product, we reserve the right to send you offers for similar products by email. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time free of charge, for example, via the unsubscribe link or by sending a message to info@sign-of-mine.de. The emails are sent via MailChimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC, USA). Your data will be transferred to MailChimp, where it will be stored, analyzed, and used to optimize the newsletter. The analysis is carried out using web beacons. If you do not wish this to happen, simply unsubscribe from the newsletter. MailChimp does not use your data to contact you and does not share it. A data processing agreement in accordance with EU standard contractual clauses exists with MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. MailChimp's privacy policy can be found at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.

Which data is collected and stored

We store your personal data such as name, address, email address, telephone number, and payment information in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG). This data is collected solely for the purpose of processing your order, unless you request additional services.

Deleting and blocking your customer data

You have the right to request the deletion of your stored personal data at any time. Alternatively, your data will be blocked if legal retention periods prevent deletion. Information about stored data is available upon request by sending an email to info@sign-of-mine.de.
